LA TAQUERIA at Hirschgarten

The second restaurant of LA TAQUERIA Milagros is located in a residential neighborhood of Munich.
Its´ design is inspired by the colorful markets of Mexico.
Mexican and German artists and craftsmen were invited to contribute with their artwork. The enriching collaborations have added a unique charm to the character of the space.
Although each branch has its´ individual style, the distinct corporate architecture makes them clearly a part of the LA TAQUERIA Milagros chain.
With the help of lightings made of recycled PET bottles and hand braided lampshades from South America and a selection of hand crafted objects from Mexico, a warm and playful atmosphere has emerged, reminiscent of the vibrant world of Mexican street markets.

LA TAQUERIA Milagros was awarded the German Design Award and the American Architecture Prize in 2016.
